Really enjoyed this book. The stars of the tale were Deliverance & Mercy and the story was best during the flashbacks. Connie, the heroine for lack of a better word, was a bit clueless but I could deal with that. It was quite clear early on who the "bad guy" was, but the story still built well. Some people were turned off by the magick, but I thought it added to the story. After all, this book was written from the point of view, what if some of those convicted really were witches? I'd recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in the Salem witch trials.
