I had completely forgotten I had this book and came across it when I was thinning out some stuff to give to the Salvation Army. A very quick read about a biologist who "adopts" a baby barn owl who has nerve damage in one of his wings and will never be able to survive on his own in the wild. Wesley's story is a good one with many funny moments as well as poignant ones. While I loved Wesley, I never developed much of a feeling for Stacey. A good, fast read for any animal lover.
