**UPDATED rating. The more I thought about it, it's a 3 star read**This series is a favorite of mine, but this one is by far my least favorite so far. I love the characters and the small-town setting. They come across as familiar...like people I might know and a place that I'm definitely familiar with, though not in Texas. The fashion angle was what turned me off with this one. I know Harlow is a designer and I enjoy that part of her life, but all the other designers and fashion drama.....SO not my thing! This is a 3.5 star read for me, but went the extra .5 here on GR since no 1/2 stars. If you like this series anyway you'll want to read this one, too. Definitely not the one to start with if you haven't read them before!
